Lewis & Clark Community CollegeLewis and Clark has experienced steady growth since its inception in 1970. Enrollments over the past five years have grown 20 percent compared to 7 percent in all Illinois community colleges. In fall 2003, enrollment was 10,000 students: 7,000 in credit courses and 3,000 in non-credit. The College’s high retention rate of 66 percent is a tribute to the strong support services provided to students.
