Founded in 1902, Barton College is a fully accredited, four-year, private, co-educational, liberal arts college. Located in Wilson, N.C., Barton welcomes approximately 1,300 students from 31 states and 16 foreign countries to a campus of 25 buildings on 65 acres. The College is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a mainstream denomination that developed out of the Presbyterian Church in the early 1800s.
