During his visit to Dayton in 1925 for the Scopes Evolution Trial, William Jennings Bryan (1860‑1925) expressed the wish that a prep school and junior college for men might be established on one of Dayton’s scenic hills.The basic purpose of Bryan College is to educate students to become servants of Christ to make a difference in today's world. The College seeks to assist in the personal growth and development of qualified students by providing an education based upon an integrated understanding of the Bible and the liberal arts.
