University courses at Chatham College

Chatham College Chatham College is home to 1,200 undergraduate and graduate students on 32 park-like acres in the Shadyside area of Pittsburgh. The College's $54.9 million (as of 6/30/04) endowment is among the largest per student in the nation. Chatham remains a private, selective, fully accredited, nonsectarian institution, offering baccalaureate degrees only to women. Master's degrees, continuing education programs, and teacher certification are offered to women and men.

The College is accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, the American Chemical Society, the Pennsylvania Department of Education teacher certification program, the American Physical Therapy Association, the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, and the Council on Social Work Education.
