College of the Ozarks Founded as the School of the Ozarks in 1906. The Junior College started in 1956. Four-year program started in 1965. Renamed to College of the Ozarks in 1990.

As a full-time student, you'll devote 15 hours each week to a campus job; their work program will involve you in one or more of over 80 areas, including agriculture, computers, construction and many more. Combined with scholarships and grants, your earnings will cover the cost of your education, making College of the Ozarks very affordable for you. Most of the 1,500 young men and women who attend College of the Ozarks come from Missouri and Arkansas, although 42 states and 20 foreign countries are represented all together.
