As a community and technical college, we exist to meet the educational, social and cultural needs of the citizens of the Kentucky River Valley of Eastern Kentucky. Hazard Community and Technical College is a multi-campus college offering unique opportunities for student learning at each of our campus sites. Our Hazard Campus houses the Dr. J. Marvin Jolly Center, the First Federal Center, and The Clemons Center. In addition, the Challenger Learning Center of Kentucky provides a special learning environment for area school children. Our allied health programs are housed nearby on Morton Boulevard in the Bailey-Stumbo Building, home of the UK Center for Rural Health.
Our Technical Campus offers degree, diploma, and certificate programs in everything from Auto Mechanics to Welding to Cosmetology. The Lees College Campus in Jackson offers a library, academic support tutoring, and computer labs. In addition to expanding general access, our Knott County Branch is home for the Kentucky School of Craft, offering jewelry and woodworking programs. In Hyden we have the Leslie County Center where, we have the new Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music.
