John A. Logan College John A. Logan College is committed to the Leadership and Core Values Initiative introduced to the community colleges of Illinois in 1997. The primary purpose of the initiative has been to work with community colleges in exploring questions about values, ethical practices, and the leadership traits that support these considerations in the workplace. The first Illinois Leadership Institute was held in 1998 and is an ongoing event.
