United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities is a school with deep roots in the Upper Midwest. United was established in 1960 by the United Church of Christ through the merger of Mission House Seminary of Plymouth, Wisconsin, and Yankton School of Theology in Yankton, South Dakota.

United Seminary has a faculty of outstanding teachers and scholars who have deep roots in the church. Faculty members are excellent teachers who maintain that excellence.
