University courses at University of Wisconsin-Rock County

University of Wisconsin-Rock County UW-Rock County is one of 13 freshman-sophomore liberal arts transfer campuses of the UW Colleges and offers a general education associate degree. After beginning their studies at UW-Rock County, where the student/teacher ratio in most classes is 20-1, students transfer to other UW System institutions as well as to colleges and universities throughout the country to complete their bachelor's degrees. In fact, once a student has met transfer requirements, transfer throughout the UW System is guaranteed!

The mission of the System is to develop human resources, to discover and disseminate knowledge, to extend knowledge and its application beyond the boundaries of its campuses, and to serve and stimulate society by developing in students heightened intellectual, cultural, and humane sensitivities; scientific, professional, and technological expertise; and a sense of value and purpose. Inherent in this broad mission are methods of instruction, research, extended education, and public service designed to educate people and improve the human condition. Basic to every purpose of the System is the search for truth.
